Keith Kennedy

July 19 1960 – July 2 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of beloved husband and father, Keith Kennedy, who passed away on July 2 2024 at the age of 63 in Edmonton, Alberta.

Keith was the cherished husband of Grace Kennedy (nee Power), and proud father of Stephanie (Dustin Prostebby) Kennedy and Heidi (Joel) Possberg. He left to mourn brother and sisters; David (Cindy) Carter Kennedy, Susan Kennedy, Penney (Gary) Millband, and sister-in-law Christine Kennedy. He also left behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Keith was predeceased by his mother and father; Verna and Rodderick Kennedy and brother; Craig Kennedy.

Though our hearts are heavy with loss we take comfort in knowing that Keith’s spirit will forever be with us. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. As we navigate this difficult time we hold on to the strength and love he instilled within us.

Keith carried, in his heart, a piece of Newfoundland with him wherever he went. He often reminisced about his days on the island, sharing stories of its beauty and the warmth of its people.

Keith is now in the arms of the Redeemer, finding eternal peace and joy in the company of those he’s missed.

A funeral service for Keith will be held on Thursday, September 19 at 2:00 PM at First United Church, Park Street, Corner Brook with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
