It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon “Gordie” Stanley Crawford announce his passing on Tuesday, May 25th, 2010 in Happy Valley Goose Bay at the age of 55 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Caroline; children: Andrew (Crystal Parsons), James and Luke; brother Bernie (Barb); sisters: Joan Best (Peter), Carol Ann Wilcox (Wade) and Donna, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Barbara and George Crawford. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 29th at 2:00 p.m. from the Anglican Church. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Gord Crawford Memorial Scholarship by cheque to the family or any branch of Scotiabank.
