Obituary of Robert Mark Saunders
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert Mark “Nick” Saunders announce his passing on July 27, 2024, at the Labrador Health Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL at the age of 73 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife: Ruth; nieces and nephews: Robbie, Lori-Lyn, Troy, Madison, Mackenzie, Krystal, Craig, Mary-Elizabeth, Julia, Jodi (Special niece), Cole, and Tianna (Special baby girl); brothers: Gus Saunders and Paul Saunders (Wanda); special sister-in-law: Margaret Brown; as well as many other extended relatives and friends.
Nick was predeceased by his parents: Lawrence and Mary (Best) Saunders; brothers: Maurice Beaulac and Lawrence Jr. (Lovie) Saunders; and sister: Pearl Saunders-Beaulac.
Friends and family may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL on Tuesday, July 30th, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to express special thanks to the Labrador Health Centre staff for their care of Nick during his illness.
