It is with great sadness that the family of the late Doreen Sarah Targett announce her passing on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Corner Brook Long Term Care at the age of 77 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Carol Ann (Bill) Andrews; son George (Brenda Lee) Targett; daughter-in-law Bonita Smith; grandsons: Adam, Alexander and Brady; great-grandchildren: David, Ava, Lily, Jayden, Alex and Javoke; brothers: Sid Anderson & family and Gordon Anderson & family; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son David Targett, parents Sidney and Lucy Anderson. Cremation has taken place. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue with Rev. Canon Tanya White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital.
