Card of Thanks

 

The family of the late Margret Hepditch wish to express their deep appreciation to

those who offered such kindness, support and comfort in our bereavement.

We are overwhelmed with the love you all have surrounded us with at such a difficult time.

THANK YOU  from all of us for all the food, music, photos, stories, hugs, tears and laughter.

It was simply beautiful.

It is with great sadness the family announce the peaceful passing of Margaret Hepditch on August 13, 2024 at Long Term Care at Corner Brook, NL.

Marg will forever be remembered for her love of cooking, passion for dolls and entertaining family and friends.

Marg leaves behind her children; David (Deb), Francis (Jamie), Elizabeth Ann and Christina. Her grandchildren: Nicole, Ryne, Elise, Tyler, Maggie, Corey and Liam. Her great grandchildren: Jack, Jesse, Eli, Nevaeh and Halle. Her sisters, Laura and Mona (who was her constant companion and best baby sister), and her brother, Ron, daughter-in-law, Roxanne, and brother-in-law, Francis; special niece, Carla Gillam and nephew, Teddy Hickey. Family friends, Christine and George Bowring, Gus Carey and Lori Gillis who always had a special place in mom’s heart.

She is predeceased by her husband, Leo; son Paul; special niece, Jennifer Dawe; sisters Kathleen, Libby and Mary; brothers Rhoady, Ted, Gerald, Joe and Jim; special brother-in-laws, Ray Boyd and Carl Fraser.

Special thanks to the staff on Unit 3B Medicine, Western Memorial Regional Hospital and 2 North, Long Term Care for their exceptional care of Mom. To Nancy Gibbons who went above and beyond to care for Mom like her own; your kindness will not be forgotten.

Visitation will be held Friday at Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Mark’s Avenue from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, August 17th, 2024 at 10:30 am from All Hallows Church with Bishop Bart Van Roijen officiating. Burial service will be held at a later date.
