It is with great sadness that the family of the late Christopher Robert Michael Best announce his passing on August 8, 2024, at Brevoort Island, Nunavut at the age of 34 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his mom: Shelly Cox (nee Best) and stepfather Shawn Cox; father: Vince Heard and stepmother Val Webb; grandmothers: Vera Best and Vivian Heard; aunt: Jenny Michelin; and uncle: Vance Michelin; brother: Nathan Crane; as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
The memorial service will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024, from the United Church, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL at 2:00 pm with Rev Nellie Thomas officiating. The service is for family and close friends by invitation only.
