Obituary of Sarah Noel

November 27, 1952 - September 2, 2024                                                                                                                                                                                   

Sarah Elizabeth Noel (nee Mahar) affectionately known as Sadie was born on November 27, 1952.  Passed peacefully away on September 2, 2024, a beloved Mother, grandmother. sister, daughter and friend.   Sarah dedicated her life to her family and community.

As the owner and operator of her Foodland store, Sarah was known for her kind and giving nature, treating customers as family, her soft demeanor and genuine warmth made her a cherished figure in her community.  Even as a diabetic she had a special fondness for chocolate, she may have indulged in a few pieces over the years, she always found joy in the little things.

Sarah's love for her family was unparalled.  She is survived by her daughters Tara (Andrew), Tracy (Sean); her adored grandchildren:  Madison, Katherine, Morgan, Korilee; great-grandchildren:  Milo, Jesse, Charlie; siblings:  Clary, Mike, Stella, Amelia, Ken, Aloysius, Jerry, Clarice and their families who will miss her dearly.  

She is predeceased by her husband Loman (Sr);  her son Loman (Jr);  brothers:  Primus, Edward, Gary,  Bill; Parents Elise and Aloysius.

Sarah Elizabeth Noel will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, her ability to make you feel special, her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and the many lives she touched throughout her journey.

Family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of PCR bungalow 2 for taking such great care of mom.  You are very special people with hearts of gold, her angels on earth and we thank you.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 @ 2pm  St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church in Port au Choix.  Father Rossi Officiating. Intermnet to follow at Sandy Cove Interfaith Cemetery.
