It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alfreda Coley announce her peaceful passing at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre in Port Aux Basques on Tuesday, June 8th, 2010 at the age of 75 years. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Sr. and her two sons: Arthur and Sandy. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Thomas Jr. (Alice), Ernie (Michelle), Henry (Leona), Dennis (Kim), Ward (Ada), Ellen (Jack), Milly (Ron), Alice (Bob), and Judy; two sisters: Ruth (Matthew) and Phyllis (Henry); two brothers: Ward (Alice) and Fred (Betty); 20 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Friends visited Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle Aux Morts on Wednesday and Thursday, from where the Funeral Service was held on Friday, June 11th at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Duncan Granter officiated. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery in Margaree. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted.
