It is with great sadness that the family of the late Phyllis Young announce her passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL on Wednesday, September 11^th,2024 at the age of 60 years.

She leaves to mourn her husband Jeffrey Young; her daughter Alexis Young; her mother Mercedes Young nee Lucas; siblings:  Barbara Ann Langille, Leonard (Dale) Young, Marilyn (Wilson) Green, Wayne (Barb) Young, Junior (Brenda) Young, Judy (Derek) Parsons, Lloyd (Ann) Young, Richard (Debbie) Young, Derrick (Lisa) Young, Angela (Bruno) Cormier, Paula (Nigel) Young, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and extended family and friends.

Phyllis was predeceased by her father Percy Young.

Visitation on Friday, September 13, 2024, 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 2024, 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.

Funeral service on Monday, September 16, 2024, 10:00 a.m.  at the Assumption Parish Church, Stephenville Crossing, NL with Fr. Edmond Dantes officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Brook Street, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
