It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hannah Margaret Park (Lovell) announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the age of 95 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Reginald (Carol), Warren, Delores (Patrick Gambin), Wanda (Milton Osmond), Nancy (Ernest Reid), Jacqueline (Isadore Gambin), Alfreda (Guy Lovell), Peter (Christine), Samuel, Darrin (Michelle); 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters: Molly Brake, Marina Kinslow, Josephine Rideout; brothers: Samuel (Kitty), Richard (Inez); sisters-in-law: Rosie, Patsy, Beatrice Blanchard (Gerald), Anita Payne, Yvonne LaRush (William); brother-in-law: Herbert Park (Mildred), as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Hannah was predeceased by her husband of 70 years William Park; daughter: Greta; son-in-law: Imre Kusu; parents: Joseph and Elizabeth Lovell; parents-in-law: Israel and Laura Park; sisters: Florence Brake (George), Nettie Park (Donald), Emma Blanchard (Lawrence), Greta, and step-sister Mildred; brothers: Esau, Maurice (Florence), Albert (Angela), Sandy, William; sisters-in-law: Francis Park (John), Annie Blanchard (Herbert), Margaret Park (John), Viola; brothers-in-law: John (Alfreda, Margaret), Reuben (Drucilla), Isaac, Kevin Payne, Samuel Rideout, Gerald Kinslow and Roland Brake.

A visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue in Corner Brook on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9PM. A funeral service will take place at Epiphany Anglican Church in McIvers on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 2:00PM with Reverend Terry Loder officiating. Interment will follow in the Epiphany Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
