Obituary of Andrew Benjamin Williams

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Andrew Benjamin Williams announce his peaceful passing on September 22^nd, 2024, at the Labrador Grenfell Health Centre at the age of 69.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Spouse: Ann Wolfrey; Children: Conrad Williams, & Tammy (Peter) Williams; Stepchildren: Harris Wolfrey & Pauline (Jason) Snow; Grandchildren: Toby Williams, Johnny Williams, Rachel, Lilly, & Dawson Scott; Mother: Mary Toomashie Williams; and Sisters: Rebecca (John) Williams, Vera Dyson, Nita Williams, Esther (Bud) Williams, & Olive Williams. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Andrew was predeceased by Father: Charles Williams; Brothers: Daniel & Robert Williams; Sister: Anna Williams; Grandparents: Thomas & Annie Toomashie; as well as Aunt and Uncle: Viola & Dave Toomashie.

Friends and family may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 24^th from 7:00-9:00pm.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 25^th from the Anglican Church in Happy Valley-Goose Bay at 2:00pm with Rev. Nellie Thomas officiating. With internment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Happy Valley-Goose Bay. Refreshments will be offered in the church Annex following internment.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Andrew’s spouse Ann Wolfrey to help with funeral expenses. The family would like to send a special thanks to Winston Blake, Amanda Wolfrey, Doctors: Paul & Catherine Crocker, chemo staff at the hospital, Shelly Wolfrey, stepdaughter: Pauline Wolfrey, Andrew’s sisters: Beck, Vera, Nita, Esther, & Olive, and all his friends & family who came to visit.
