Obituary of Beatrice May Blake

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Beatrice May Blake (nee Allen) announce her passing on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley – Goose Bay, NL, at the age of 75 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Billy (Susie), Pam (Harry), Craig (Emma) and Vanessa (Derek); grandchildren: Courtney (Leo), Troy (Em-Jae), Brittany, Dustin (Emma), Colin (Julia), Amber Lynn, Kierden, Garrett, Samantha, Aiden, Tabitha and Stephen; step-grandchildren: Travis (Michelle) and Chelsea (Ryan); great-grandchildren, Tyrone, Dakota, Tori, Trai, Nolan, Davin, Marshall, Dre, Kiefer, Mason, Jenna, Amelia, Emilie and Lucas; brothers: Edward, Kenny (Georgina), and Leslie (Susan); sisters, Barbara (Max), Celeste (Mervyn), Cindy and Shirley; sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Donna; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Allan Blake; parents, William and Tabitha Allen; son Dwayne Blake; and brothers Tony and Bill.

Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Goose Bay on Thursday, September 26 from the hours of 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27 at 11:00 a.m. from the Anglican Church in Goose Bay with Rev. Nellie Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at the United Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the family.
