Thomas Roland John Rumbolt

January 14, 1997 - October 1, 2024

It is with tremendous sadness and totally broken hearts, the family of Thomas Roland John Rumbolt announce his sudden passing at the Labrador Grenfell Health Clinic in Mary's Harbour, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at the young age of 27.

As a young boy Thomas was very active, funny, and kind. He enjoyed Cross Country running, the JCR program, and was a good friend who enjoyed a good laugh with his close friends. 

As he grew older his creative side became more evident, whether it was drawing, writing or painting.

Those that were closest to Thomas were the only fortunate ones to hear his short stories, poetry, or view his paintings. He also prided himself on his being physically healthy, working out regularly and walking with his bestest friend, Jules.

Thomas was predeceased by his Uncle Tim, Pop John Rumbolt, Pop Tim Rumbolt, Pop Roland Simms, his Nan with the old hair, Great Nan Dorothy Campbell, Great Grandfather Daniel Campbell, Great Grandparents William and Mary Rumbolt, Great Grandparents Thomas and Anita Simms, Great Grandparents Leonard and Elsie Russell, and his little Uncle Dean. 

Thomas leaves to mourn, his precious, pride and joy, his Puppy Jules, His loving parents, who cherished each and every moment they shared on this earth, Terry and Jackie, his big Sister Lissa, his big Brother Lyman, his nephews Deklan, Maverick and R.J., and Niece Layla, his Nan Ella Simms, Nan Mary Rumbolt, Uncles, Jason (Connie), Harvey (Juanita), Tony (Laura), His Aunts, Joanne (Darron), Jeanna (Terry), Sharon (Ronald) and Susie. 

Thomas also had a very large circle of cousins, and a family in our community who looked out for him always. 

Thomas' celebration of life will be held at a date yet to be determined.
