Geraldine Scanlon Castor River North It is with great sadness that the family of the late Geraldine Scanlon announce her passing on Sunday, June 27th, 2010 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 63 years. Leaving to mourn husband Patrick; sons: Morris (Dale), Castor River North, Harrison (Kim), Glenn (Terri), Clayton (Linda), Brampton, ON, Frazer (Clarise), Castor River North; grandchildren: Zackary, Kelly, Joey, Alexander, Kyle, Patrick, Andrew, Kayla, Madison; great-grandchildren: Parker, Rylan; sisters: Cecilia (Abraham), Laura Gaulton, Nomie (Jerome); sisters-in-law Elizabeth, Maureen, Janet, Beatrice; brothers-in-law: Darius, John, and a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents: George and Rebecca Tatchell; sister Dorothy; brothers: Jerome, Henry, Ralph, Edward; brothers-in-law: Eymard and Donald. The family will receive friends at St. Anne’s Chapel in Castor River North on Tuesday and Wednesday, from where the Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, July 1st at 11:00 a.m. with Father Roger officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Bartlett’s Harbour. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port au Choix.
