Verden Clayton Inder

August 9, 1942 – October 13, 2024

Corner Brook, NL

It is with great sadness that the family of Verden Inder announce his passing on October 13 2024 at Corner Brook LTC surrounded by his loving family. Leaving to mourn with precious memories, his wife of 57 years, Linda, his two treasured sons Eric (Sharon) of Brampton, Ontario, and Terry (Andrea) of Corner Brook, siblings Paul, Diane, Bruce, Moriore, Glen and spouses, sisters-in-law Sandra Howlett and Carol Snow, as well as close friend Martin Blake. Verden will also be dearly missed by the Men’s Fellowship and entire congregation of the Salvation Army Citadel where he was a member of the welcoming Committee for many years.

Known to many around Corner Brook as "The Wood Man", he could always be seen with his truck piled high with cut birch, snowmobile proudly perched on top. There was no place Verden was happier than in the woods.

The family would like to sincerely thank Western Health LTC staff, nurses and doctors nurses for their exemplary care and compassion over the last year of Verden’s life.
