Obituary of Michael Anthony Rumboldt

Michael Anthony Rumboldt
November 12, 1956 – October 17, 2024

It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of the Late Michael Rumboldt announce his passing on October 17, 2024, at the Health Science Centre, St. John’s.

Left to mourn are his daughters Ashley (Darcy) and Amanda (Kenny); grandchildren Cierra and Emberly; parents John and Marie Rumboldt; siblings Regina (Don), Maureen, Chris (Rhonda), Jenny, and Jackie (Don); and many close relatives and friends.

Michael was predeceased by his brothers Wayne and Brian Rumboldt.

The family would like to say thank you to the staff at Western Memorial ICU, Corner Brook and the Health Science Centre CCU, St. John’s for their care and compassion.

A visitation will be held for family and friends on Monday, October 21 from the hours of 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue, Corner Brook.

Funeral service will take place at 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 22 at All Hallows Roman Catholic Church, 109 Humber Road, Corner Brook with Father Terry officiating.

An interment will take place at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery (Roman Catholic Section), Wight’s Road, Deer Lake on Thursday, October 24 at 2:00 pm with Father Anthony officiating.
