MARY MAVIS GILLARD - GOODYEAR Corner Brook, NL May 23, 1934 - July 1, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Mavis Gillard - Goodyear announce her passing on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 76 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: June (Shaun), Marilyn (Glen), Sandie (David), Allan (Max), Chris, Robert (Brittany), Neil (Lorraine) and Kerry (Laura); 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Francis (Lorraine), Tom (Sherri), Shirley (Albert), Helen (Cyril - deceased), Art (Violet), Bernie (Jean) and Cathy (Larry), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husbands Neil Gillard and Clifford Goodyear, daughter Karen, parents Mary and Frank Vincent, brothers Ron and Gerald. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 3 at 2:00 p.m. from All Hallows Parish, Humber Road with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
