Obituary of April Danielle Stowe

It is with shattered hearts that we announce the passing of April Danielle Stowe after a short but incredibly courageous fight with brain cancer.
Predeceased by her beautiful mother, Marilyn Vincent Stowe, April leaves to mourn with broken hearts and cherished memories her Father, Rod Stowe, her 3 beautiful children; Marley Addison, Gabe Simon, and Conrad Roderick; her step daughter Billie Rita, her Partner in life and in love, Craig Cutler, Criag’s Mother Janet; Marley and Gabe's father, Rob Piccott (Melissa and Jordyn), her best friends and soul sisters, Meghan Kelly and Caitlin Byrne, special Aunt and Uncle Marilyn and Byron Butt, Uncle Cyril Vincent (Grace), Aunt Gloria Thomas, Aunt Lucy, and special cousins Laura and Onslo. Also forever remembered by a large circle of friends, family, and co-workers spanning from the West Coast to the East Coast of Newfoundland and beyond.
April was born in Corner Brook in 1986, the only child of Rod and Marilyn, and she lived an amazing life on the Humber River. Spending time fishing with her dad and going skiing at Marble Mountain, there was no place that April loved more than her family home in Little Rapids. In her childhood April was an avid bowler and girl guide. She spoke about those activities as being very special to her.
April moved to St. John’s and completed courses at MUN in sociology and criminology that provided the foundation for her passions in life. Her life in Torbay was full of love, laughter, and adventure. Watching Marley play hockey, building Legos with Gabe, having family movie nights, and cooking and sharing meals with Criag. There was nothing more important to April than her children.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff on 4NA as well as countless others who cared for sweet Conrad during the past 6 months and going forward.

Visitation took place at Caul's Funeral Home, Torbay on Monday, October 14, 2024 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Funeral Service took place from Caul's Chapel, Torbay on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 10 a.m.
