It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Regina (Jeannie) Mary Vickers announce her passing on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, at the Palliative Care Unit, Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL at the age of 69 years. Regina was the first-born daughter in a family of six siblings to her parents , Florence and Patrick Vickers on June 5, 1955, in St. John’s, NL.
Regina will be remembered with love and beautiful memories by her very close extended family which includes: Stephen (Shawna) Shayla and Shaeden; Vicki (Neil) Jared, Rylan and Kaden; Amanda (Rene) Hailey and Avery; Todd (Stephanie) Chase, Emily and Brooklyn; Wendy (Jamie) Brady, Max and Charli; Robert (Caitlin) Everett; Janessa (Randy) Mary, Hilary and Luke; Gerriane (Toine) Thijs, Aurorah and Wyatt; Shannon (Emoinu) Ereima; and David. Siblings: Janice (Greg) Saunders, Brenda (George) Way, Sharon (Leo) Coady and Diane (Gerry) Tobin; sister in-law: Judy Vickers; as well as a large circle of close friends, The Rotary Club, HVGB Line Dancers; other relatives and friends.
Regina was predeceased by her parents: Florence and Patrick Vickers; brother: Gary Vickers; niece: Diana Tobin; and great niece: Reya Way.
Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL on Tuesday, November 5th, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 6th, 2024 at 2:00 pm, from Our Lady Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL with Father Boniface officiating. Cremation will take place following the service.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the many acts of kindness and continuous compassionate support from family and friends during this difficult time. We are so blessed and grateful.
As expressions of sympathy donations in Regina’s memory can be made to Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish. Flowers are also welcome.
