The family of the late Dianne L. Alexander would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the incredible love and support we've received during this difficult time. Each text message, phone call, card, flower, donation, and gift of food has meant so much to us, and we want you to know how deeply we appreciate your kindness and generosity.

 We are especially thankful to the Western Long-Term Care Palliative Care Unit staff, whose compassion and support have comforted us in our time of need.

 We also extend our sincere appreciation to the staff at Fillatre’s Funeral Home for their professionalism and kindness, particularly to Jessica, who truly went above and beyond to help us through this difficult time. Your thoughtfulness has touched our hearts in ways we can't fully express.

It is with great sadness that the family of Dianne L. Alexander announce her passing at the Western Long Term Care Home Palliative Care Unit on Monday, November 4, 2024 at the age of 73 years.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband: Jeryl; sons: Andy and Stephen; daughter-in-law: Lesley; grandson: Maxwell; granddaughter: Alaura; brother: Dean Burton and wife Cindy, son Matthew and daughter Andrea; sisters: Judy Burton (Ross Fudge), Ellen Penney (Wilf); sisters-in-law: Donna Burton and Desirêê Alexander; brother-in-law: Mike Alexander and wife Olga, son Kristian and Nicole.

She was predeceased by her parents: Charles and Louise Burton; brothers: Charlie (Junior) Burton, Glenn Burton; and parents-in-law: Andrew and Wilhelmena Alexander.

A visitation will be held for family and friends at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Tuesday, November 5^th from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9pm with prayers to conclude the evening visitation. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or The Canadian Cancer Society.

The family would like to give special thanks and gratitude to the staff of the Western Long Term Care Homes Palliative Care Unit.
