It is with great sadness that the family of the beloved Marjorie Gladys Prosper announces her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on November 8, 2024, at the age of 90 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Myra (Ron) Vandermeer, Hayward (Mae) Prosper, Tony (Kim) Prosper, Alice (Rod) Penney, Harold (Janice) Prosper; and her loving grandchildren: Brandi, Brent, Hayward Jr, Elizabeth, Rhonda, Karen, Adam, Paul, Raymond (Kim), Ashley, Georgia, and special granddaughter Lauren; brother Ralph, and her sisters Lillian and Dorothy (Maitland); along with her special sister and best friend, Mary (John). Marjorie also leaves to mourn her great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a large circle of family and friends.

She is predeceased by parents Clifton and Mary Joyce, husband Harold, son Wayne, brothers Bill, Bob, Wilson, Clayton, and sister Jennette.

Marjorie loved her children unconditionally and her family was the most important thing to her.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 13 from the hours of 12:00-2:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, the funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel with the Very Rev. Catherine Short officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
