It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Wendy Elizabeth Hobbs at the Palliative Care unit at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on November 11, 2024 at the age of 80.
Wendy leaves to mourn her children, Glen (Michelle), Scott (Corinne), Mark (Jennifer) and Alison (Dana). Her grandchildren Christian (Brianna), Ryan, Taylor, Dawson, Devon, Bailey, Ashley, as well as many other family members and friends.
She was predeceased by husband Sidney Hobbs, parents Frank and Alice Mitchell, brother Barry, sister Pat and grandchild Mason.
Special thank you to all the nurses, doctors, and staff at Western Memorial Regional Hospital.
The care and attention from those special people at the Palliative Care Unit is exemplary.
Following her wishes, cremation has taken place. No service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Bay St. George Sick Kids Foundation.
