It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordan Normore announce his sudden passing on June 7, 2010 at the Labrador South Health Centre in Forteau at the age of 75 years. Leaving to mourn with loving memories wife Sarah; children Roderick (Bernadette), Yvonne (Stephan), Wilson (Priscilla), Morley (Debbie), Sheldon (Stephanie), and Kerry (Corilee); 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brother John, sisters Mary, Dora, Dorothy, and Gladys, as well as a large circle of other family and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Lynette, parents John and Ellen Normore, and step-grandson Justin Noel. Visitors were received at the Community Centre on Monday and at the Anglican Church on Tuesday from where the funeral service took place on Wednesday, June 9, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Norman Cutler officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery in L’Anse au Loup. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home in L’Anse au Loup.
