Harriet moved to Corner Brook from Pass Island at age 8 years old. She attended Wonderland School for people with disabilities. She was also a client of the VON Day Care Program which she really enjoyed until her accident. She became a resident of Corner Brook Long Term Care where she excelled at painting and bowling, as well as her many hours of knitting. Harriet was often referred to as the "Walmart Greeter" because she loved to meet new people and inform new families of the requirements of the home.
Special thanks for the love and care shown to her by the nurses and staff of CBLTC 4th floor. Dr. Wadwha who has taken care of her for many years. A big thank you to Eugene and Pat Small, Wanda Gillingham, Jean Froud and Keisha Locke. We are incredibly grateful for the support of Rev. Tanya White, Rev. David Russell and Fillatre's Funeral Home.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at Fillatre Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from the hours of 2-3pm with a funeral service to follow starting at 3:00pm in Fillatre Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
