Gerald Francis Gould

November 27, 1942 - November 18, 2024

It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Father, Husband, Brother and Pop Gould, at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre on November 18, 2024, at the age of 81.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 56 years, Gladys; Son Noel and  Daughters:  Tracy (David), Suzanne (Rusty) and Dwanna (Shannon).  Grandchildren:  Stephenie, Jamie (Mikaela), Brad (Miranda), Brandon, Tylor, Jaxson and Brooklyn; Great-grandchildren:  Aj, Lincoln, Janaya, Xander, Wyatt, Ellie, Kyia and Beau.  Brothers:  Bud (Valetta), Frank (Bernice),Mont, Ran (Cavelle) and Sisters:  Madonna (Steve) Whitenect and Patricia Gould.  Brothers-in-law:  Wade (Millie) Gould, Brian (Donna) Gould, Oliver (Darlene) Gould and Elijah (Diane) Gould; Sister-in-law Stella House as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Gerald was predeceased by his parents Maturine (Cornick) and Romeo Gould; Sisters:  Dessa Payne and Leona Plowman; Nephew Brian Plowman.  

Our family would like to acknowledge and Thank the Nurses, Doctors and Staff  at RGHC for the special care and kindness you showed Dad and our family for the past 7 months.  

Visitation will be held at Fillatre's Funeral Home in Port au Choix, NL 

Tuesday, November 19, 2024, @ 7 pm - 9 pm.

Wednesday, November 20, 2024, @ 2 pm - 4 pm and 7 pm - 9 pm.

Funeral will be on Thursday, November 21, 2024 @ 11 am, Saint Theresa Roman Catholic Church in Port au Choix, with Father Rossi officiating.

Interment to follow at the Sandy Cove Interfaith Cemetery.
