FRANCES PATRICIA MCLENNON (Nee Browne) Pasadena, NL (Formerly of Stephenville, NL) January 15, 1921 - July 8, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frances Patricia McLennon (Nee Browne) announce her passing on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 89 years. Born in Bar Haven, NL, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Lucy (Cumbie), Bar Haven, NL. She was predeceased by her husband Aloysius McLennon, sisters Vivian, Marguerite, Winnifred, Eileen and Lucy, brother James. She is survived by her daughter Donna McLennon-Joy (Michael); son Gerald (Christina); brother Aiden Browne (Judy); special niece Verna Walsh (Tom); grandchildren: John and Marie; great-granddaughter Sheridan; brother-in-law Richard Ryan; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 10 at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Rosary Parish, Pasadena with Bishop Douglas Crosby, Monsignor Jim Robertson and Father Gordon Grace officiating. Interment to follow at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Bay of Islands SPCA.
