It is with great sadness that the family of the late Victoria (Louise) Young announce her peaceful passing on Friday, November 22^nd, 2024, at the Calder Health Care Centre in Burgeo at the age of 85 years. She leaves to mourn with many loving memories her children: Phoebe (Gordon), Perry (Cindy), June (Hubert), Yvonne (Lloyd), Edward, Michael (Tracy); grandchildren, Vicki, Andy, Amanda, Valene, Vanessa, Lori, Robyn, Jeff, Tim, Kerri, Philip, Kristen, Natasha, Hope, Rebecca, Bradley, Anisa, Gabrielle, Begotte, Caleb, and zamir; 31 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; sisters Hilda (Mike), Maisie (Norman), Beatrice (Frank), Doris (Gerald), and Eileen, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Emmanuel Young; son Bradley Young, parents Simeon and Josephine Spencer, parents-in-law Phoebe and Jacob Young; siblings Simeon, Vera, Edith, Frank, Jack, Thelma, Cecil, Annie, Marilyn and Ruby, Granddaughters Crystal McCarthy and Candace Marks. Visitation will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church in Burgeo, Sunday, November 24^th, 2-4 and 7-9:00 P.M from where the funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25^th at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Elsie Rose officiating. Interment to follow at the Burgeo Community Cemetery.
