It is with great sadness that the family of the late Katherine Fiander announce her passing on Tuesday, November 26th, 2024 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 86 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, daughter Karen Buckland, Corner Brook, son John (Andrea), Thorold, Ontario; grandchildren Bruce (Jodi), Alexis, Eric, Meagan, Shana, Joshua, Holly, and a number of great grandchildren; as well she leaves behind her sister Nora Harris, other relatives and friends from Lanes Retirement Living, Irishtown-Summerside.
Predeceased by her husband Eric Fiander, sons Bruce and Alton and grandson Lee Buckland.
Granting her wishes cremation has taken place. A service will take place at a later date in Rose Blanche.
As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
