Obituary of Mina Ardella Hibbs

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mina Ardella Hibbs announce her passing on November 27th, 2024, at her home in North West River at the age of 89 years surrounded by her loving family.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons Patrick (Maxene), Larry (Karen) and Tony. Daughters Margaret (Garry), Joann, Jeannie (Garry). Her grandchildren Anson, Wendy (Jason), Jessica, Colin (Samantha), Jordan (Aurora),  Sydnie, Reed, and Toni-Kate. Her Great-Grandchildren Adrian, Lindsey (Ryan), Annabell, Logan, Ajay, Nicholas, and Juniper and her sister Linda McLean.

Mina was predeceased by her parents Margaret and Graham Blake, her husband, Arthur Hibbs, her beloved son Clarence Hibbs and her foster child Lindsay Dyson and her siblings Winton, Millicent, Eugene, Reginald and Ada.

As per Minas wishes cremation has taken place and burial will be at a later date.

The Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 2nd, 2024, at the United Church in North River at 1pm, with Reverend Nellie Thomas officiating. Reception to follow at Minas residence in North West River.

As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family or a charity of one’s choice.
