The family would like to thank the staff at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in both the ER and Palliative Unit. Special thank you to her nurse practitioner Wendy Squire who was so compassionate to both mom and us during this difficult time. Thank you to her niece Linda and John for keeping us nourished with some great meals and those who visited for their comforting presence, especially Tamara Downey and Leah Whittle.
We would also like to acknowledge her home care workers Katherine McLean and Sandra Foote.
Mom's greatest caregiver was her daughter Barb. We are so grateful that our sister was able to attend to all of her needs putting her own aside for so many years.
As per our mother’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
