May 9, 1957 – December 13, 2024

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the sudden and heartbreaking passing of our father Arsene Joseph Benoit at the young age of 67 years. He wasn’t’ just a father but a grandfather and a brother.  He was a kind, gentle and loving soul.  He will be dearly missed.

He leaves to mourn his two sons Jason & Jonathan Benoit, his two grandchildren Abbygail MacIsaac and Jaxon Bennett; his brothers: Columbus, Ronald and Joey; sisters:  Marie, Theresa and Eunice.

He was predeceased by his father Narcisse Benoit and his mother Lucy Renouf; his brothers Henry, Patrick, Arthur, Isaac, Aiden; his sisters Sadie and Cecilia.

Arsene loved life to the fullest. He loved his family above everything else. He will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation, Tuesday, December 17, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. @ Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.

Respecting Arsene’s wishes, cremation will take place on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 with burial on Thursday, December 19, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Brook Street, Stephenville Crossing.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
