It is with great sadness that the family of Kathleen Mary Ellen Wells announces her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on December 20, 2024, at the age of 89.

She leaves to mourn her son, Michael Wells (Michelle), and her brothers, Thomas and Patrick Leonard.

Kathleen was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Mary Leonard; her brothers, Jack Leonard (Marie), Arthur Leonard (Bride), James Leonard (Rhona); and her sisters-in-law, Sue Leonard and Edith Leonard. She was cherished by a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends who will deeply miss her.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Western Memorial Regional Hospital and the Western Health Long-Term Care Facility (Protective Community Residences) for their care and support.

Friends may visit Fillatre Funeral Home 218 Curling Street Friday, April 11, 2025 from 7:00 -9:00 pm. Kathleen's Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 12th from Sacred Heart Church, Curling Street at 11:00 am with Father Lee Lainey officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
