Pasadena, NL
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Gardner on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Western Long Term Centre, Palliative Unit at the age of 79.
Helen will be fondly remembered for her love of the outdoors and the peaceful days she spent at the family cabin in Miles Cove. Some of her happiest moments were spent on the water, cruising in the boat she adored. Her passion for all things nautical was a true reflection of her adventurous spirit. Helen’s warm smile never faded, even during life’s hardest moments; her wonderful sense of humor brought joy and laughter to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Above all, her greatest joy in life was the precious bond she shared with her beloved granddaughter Hailey. Their relationship was a source of strength and happiness, bringing light to Helen’s life even in challenging times. Helen’s love, laughter and resilience will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 57 years Andrew, son Darren and his wife Barbara, granddaughter Hailey, brother Eugene and his wife Karen; nieces Tara Nodding (Scott), Lauren Rideout (Francis); brothers-in-law Leonard Loveman, Ross Reid; special friend Judy Manuel and a large circle of extended family and many friends.
