October 18, 1948 – January 13, 2025
It is with sadness that the family of the late Robert Edwin Simpson announce his passing on January 13, 2025, at the Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit in Corner Brook, NL.
He leaves to mourn his wife of 54 years, Cheryl; his son Jason (Tamara) and his daughter Kelly (Cory); grandchildren Kalan, Aiden and Rylan.
Robert was predeceased by his grandson Austin and parents Edwin and Rose Gardiner of Ontario.
Being a kind and loving husband, father, and popa, you will be greatly missed.
A visitation will be held for family and friends from the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake. There will be no funeral service at this time. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care, Corner Brook, NL.
