Obituary of Clara Ann Myers

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clara Ann Myers announce her passing on January 14^th, 2025, at the Labrador Grenfell Health Hospital, Happy Valley-Goose Bay at the age of 75.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her Husband: Vince Myers; Children: Tony (Denise) Myers & Rick Myers; Grandchildren: Ryan, Sarah, & Richard Myers; Great-Granddaughters: Kinley and Selina Ann Lynn; Sisters: Ruby Munn, Eileen Webber, & Vivian Heard; Brothers: Melvin (Kathy) Heard, Bill Heard, & Martin Heard (Donna); Brothers and Sister-in-Law: Lawrence Myers, Phillip Myers, Don Myers, Keith Myers, & Jean Myers. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Clara is predeceased by her Parents: Elsie & Lance Heard.

Clara was a hard worker who loved working at the school and helping out in every way she could, whether it was doing her maintenance job, doing a coffee run for the friends and staff at the school, or helping with the children in any way she could.

She loved her family with her whole heart and simply adored little Kinley and was looking forward to the birth of her second great grandaughter. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for them. Vince and Clara loved each other very deeply and cared for their family together throughout their 56 years of marriage.

Family may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Friday, January 17^th from 6:00-7:00pm and friends may join between the hours of 7:00pm-9:00pm.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22^nd, 2025 at 2:00 pm, from St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Happy Valley-Goose Bay with Reverend Nellie officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
