It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cassie Maria Porter announce her passing at the CHCC on January 19, 2025, at the age of 85. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Kevin (Yvonne), Glen (Ruth), Karen (George), and Todd (Bonnie), grandchildren: Chantal (Chris), Stephanie (Cody), Sherrylyn (Josh) and Brittany, and great grandson Brady. Her sister Alma, and a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Samuel and Sarah Meade. Her husband John Porter and daughter Sherry, her brothers and sisters Ernest (Shirley), Stanley (Rosie), Jessie (Clayton), Samuel (Susie)
Special thanks to the doctors and staff at CHCC and her two homecare workers Joyce Rose and Jeanette Eavis.
In keeping with Cassie's wishes cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held at a later date.
