WILSON LAVERS Jr. Port Saunders, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wilson Lavers announce his passing on Friday, August 20th, 2010 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 71 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Corinne (Iggy), Port Saunders, Tyrone (Ida), Corner Brook; grandchildren: Maggie, Tyler, Barry and Corey; brother: Joe (Hilda), Port Au Choix; sisters: Lucille (Mike), Jeanie (Scott); very special aunt, Nellie and the late Reginald Offrey and Family whom Wilson resided with as a boy after the passing of his Mom; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Wilson and Margaret Lavers; daughter-in-law: Mary. The family will be receiving friends from St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church in Port Saunders on Sunday and Monday from where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 24th at 11:00 A.M. with Father Lee Lainy officiating, followed by interment at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home,Port Au Choix.
