ISRAEL THOMAS LILLINGTON Port Aux Basques, NL January 25, 1946 - August 24, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Israel Thomas Lillington announce his passing at LeGrow Health Centre in Port Aux Basques on Tuesday, August 24th, 2010 at the age of 64 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his children Theresa and James; grand-daughter Madelyn; former wife Judy; brother Rick (Queen); sister Marilyn (David); special friends Martina and Boyce, as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by parents Israel and Sophia Lillington, stepmother Mary and brother Gary. Tom was a kind hearted man, a father and poppy who loved his family and his friends. He held a special place in his heart for his grand-daughter Madelyn. He brought joy to those around him with his sense of humor and big smile. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Friends visited Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Aux Basques on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service took place on Sunday, August 29th at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church. Rev. Hanna Dicks officiated. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted.
