Hezekiah “Kye” McDonald Curling, NL May 4, 1930 - September 2, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hezekiah “Kye” McDonald announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home on Thursday, September 2nd, 2010 at the age of 80 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his loving wife of 58 years, Mary (nee Payne); children: Lola, Geraldine (Vaughan), Marilyn and Jim; special grandson Jason (Stephanie); grandchildren: John, Jessica, Robert, Brent (Michelle), Lesley and Jennifer (Steve); great-grandchildren: Liam, Demitra and Allyssa; special friends Lucy and Austin, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Elizabeth, brother Jim and son-in-law Colin. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Friday 7-9 p.m. and Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place at St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Curling on Sunday, September 5th at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Karen Laldin officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary’s Anglican Church Fund or to the charity of one’s choice.
