Alice May Parsons 1918 … 2010 Irishtown, NL It is with great sorrow that the family of the late Alice May Parsons (nee Hunt), announce her passing on September 4th, 2010 at the age of 92. Alice leaves to mourn , with much love and admiration, sons Austin (Lorna), Weldon (Diane), and Foster; grandchildren, Brenda, Darren, Austin Jr., Kimberly, Allison, Kerri-Ann, Kelly, Lisa; great-grandchildren, Kevin, Cody, Jordan, Shane, Tyler, Brady, Trent, and Bryson, brother Frank (Josephine), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and dear friends. Alice was predeceased by her beloved husband Tom Parsons, parents George and Mary Hunt, brothers, George, Herbert, and Walter and sisters Florence, Ursula, Lucy, Anne and by her granddaughter Theresa Hunt. Friends may pay their respects at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Summerside, on Sunday, September 5th, 2010 from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Monday, September 6th from 10 to 12 a.m. The funeral service will follow commencing at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Cancer Society of Canada in memory of Alice.
