January 28, 1948 - September 14, 2010
Passed away at the Labrador South Health Centre in Forteau, Labrador on Tuesday, September 14th, 2010 with his family at his side, ROSS BARNEY, age 62. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories wife Shirley; son Ross Charles; daughter Kim (Jim Cuff); Terry, Sara, Justin, and a large circle of Barney and Hicks family, as well as other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents John Charles and Alma Barney; two brothers: Cyril and Walter. Friends may visit the Anglican Church in L’anse au Loup on Wednesday and Thursday from where the Funeral Service will take place on Friday, September 17th at 3:00 p.m. Reverend Gosse and Father Hann officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, L’anse au Loup.
