GARLAND MILLER Corner Brook, NL 1925 - 2010 Passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 16, 2010, Garland Miller at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 84 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Olive Miller; sons: Wilson (Elizabeth) Miller and Calvin (Sheila) Miller; daughters: Donna (Hayward) Vaters, Wanda Mercer and Rhona Saunders (Karl); daughter-in-law: Susan Miller; sisters: Jessie Eveleigh, Letitia Johnson, Effie White, Irene (Roy) Bennett and Nina (Whitfield) McGrath; brother: Kenneth Miller; grandchildren: Tim Whitaker, Heather Balcom, Ian Miller, Leslie Miller, Sean Vaters, Mark Vaters, Kelly Patey, Krista Miller, Paul Mercer, Justin Mercer, Tara Mercer, Lisa Saunders and Bradley Saunders; 6 great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Linda Whitaker, son Irvin Miller, granddaughter Erika Whitaker and son-in-law Frank Mercer. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 18 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church, Park Drive with Rev. Derek Thomas officiating.
