Obituary of Laurie Chaulk

LAURIE CHAULK Passed away peacefully at home on September 16, 2010 surrounded by his loving family Laurie Chaulk at the age of 68 years. He leaves to mourn with loving memories his wife of 45 years Hazel (nee Hillier), daughters Heather, Grand Bank, NL and Carolyn (Jim) Parsons, Corner Brook, NL, mother Muriel, Deer Lake, NL; sisters and brothers: Linda (Ed) Dewey, Melvin (Daisy), Sharon (Melvin) Penney, Derek (Doreen), June Quinton, Wade (Diane), Rick (Karen), and Paul (Ethel); brothers and sisters-in-law: Sam (Thelma) Hillier, Mamie Manuel, Jim (Andrea) Hillier, and Bruce (Judy) Hillier. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many cherished friends, especially Ron and Marilyn Webb, their children and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father, Amador Chaulk, stepfather, Max Cole, parents-in-law Alfred W. and Louise Hillier. Visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Sunday, September 19, 7-9 pm and Monday, September 20, 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 21 at 2:00 pm from the Salvation Army Citadel, Premier Drive with internment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the New Tribes Mission Canada for the Ministry of Andrew and Charlotte Foster in Ethiopia, the Salvation Army Corner Brook Citadel, or the Gideons International in Canada.
