It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roy Dyson announce his passing on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at the Labrador Health Centre in Happy Valley - Goose Bay at the age of 61 years. He will be sadly missed by his children: Winston, Clancy, Helen Dyson; sisters: Mabel Dyson, Shirley Short, Minnie Martin and Stella Dyson; brothers: Ralph Dyson and Allen Dyson; mother Emma Dyson; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Joshua, grandparents Joseph and Zipporah Dyson, brother James Dyson. Friends may visit the Anglican Chirch in Cartwright on Monday from the hours of 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 21 at 2:00 pm from the Anglican Church in Batteau, Labrador. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Batteau. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley - Goose Bay.
