LOWER COVE, NL
SEPTEMBER 1, 1932 … SEPTEMBER 20, 2010
It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Grace Agnes Hickey announce her passing on Monday, September 20, 2010 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 78 years. She leaves to mourn with many precious memories her children: Al (Sandy) Hickey, Joseph (Irja) Hickey, Mary Gray, David (Tara) Hickey; grandchildren: Paulette, Elliott, Jennifer, Jared, Aaron, John; great-grandchildren: Mason, Eeva, Katie, Derese, Isaiah, Zachary as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband John; parents: Albert and Annie Young; grandson John Hickey and numerous brothers and sisters. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Curling from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday. Cremation will follow the visitation at Humber Valley Crematorium. Interment of Ashes will take place on Thursday, September 23, 2010 in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Lower Cove, NL with Sister Alice Walsh officiating. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
