<p><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span lang="EN">It is with great sadness that the family of Cecil Alley, in his 93<sup><span style="font-size: small;">rd</span></sup> year, announce his passing on Friday, March 16, 2018 at The Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing, NL. He will be dearly missed and forever loved by his loving wife of 70 years Vernice; sons: Wade (Mae), Darrell (Mondella); daughters: Marg, Rose (Malcolm), Audrey (Jerome), Juanita (Dave), Zona (Rick), Darleen (Dale); 13 grandchildren;14 great-grandchildren; brother Theo; sister Emma as well as other family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Daniel and Martha Alley; son Daniel; daughters: Mary, Vernice, Kimberly; son-in-law Jim; daughter-in-law Inez; grandaughter Trina; grandson Aaron; brothers: Byron, Bernard, Hugh; sisters: Olive and Mable. Visitation will take place on Monday, March 19, 2018 at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church in St. David’s, NL, between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 from where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Canon Ruby Carter officiating. Interment in the Anglican Church Cemetery, St. David’s will take place following the service. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
