MARY JO ROCHE (nee Battcock) Corner Brook, NL Passed away peacefully on Friday, October 8th, 2010 at home, Mary Jo surrounded by her loving children. She leaves to mourn her 10 children: Kathryn (Kambiz), Barbara (Garry), Irene (Bernie), Eleanor (Andy), Carole (Shawn), Jim (Karen), Elaine (Jim), Craig (Leona), Janice (Bruce) and Mary Lou (Todd); 11 grandchildren: Jamie, Mark, Mark & Mimi, Andrew, Brad, Katreena, Stephen, Andrea, Christopher and Sam; four great grandchildren: James, Riley, Alex and Shyla; brothers: John (Theresa) and Tommy; sister: Marnie (Bill); as well as other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband Jim, 1983 and three infant children; sisters: Annette (Dave) and Elaine; and parents: Tom and Mary Battcock. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 11th at 10:30 A.M. from Sacred Heart Church, Curling. Father Bernard Buckle officiating, followed by cremation at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
