RILEY HODDINOTT RIVER OF PONDS, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Riley Hoddinott announce his passing on Friday, October 15th, 2010 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 83 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: his wife, Nina; daughters: Rhoda (Warren) Blanchard, McIver’s, Edna (Ivan) Payne, River of Ponds, Norma, Corner Brook, Susie (Vincent) McCarthy, Port Saunders, Kimberley (Basil), Port Au Choix; sons: Harvey, Warren (Jean), Albert (Marsha) and John all of River of Ponds; grandchildren: Sandra (Vernon), Richard (Lori), Dennis (Deanne), Dallas (Doug), Brittany (Dwane), Brent, Pamela (Ron), Trinda (Wade), Robin (Trina), Kristy (Will), Melony, D.J., Nicholas, Kayle; great grandchildren: James, Janelle, Gabrielle, Dylan, Devon, Delaney, Andrew, Savannah, Richie and Alliyah; sister-in-law: Alice Patey; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by sons: Dennis and Brent; parents: Albert and MaryJane; daughter-in-law: Faye; sisters: Violet, Ella, Margaret, Estelle, Rhoda and Kathleen. The family will be receiving friends at St. Peter’s Anglican Church in River of Ponds on Friday and Saturday from where the funeral service will take place on Sunday, October 17th at 2:00 p.m. with Bishop Leonard Whitten officiating, followed by interment at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Au Choix.
