SYBIL ROXALENE BUTT (nee LeDrew) Corner Brook, NL March 10, 1927 - November 12, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sybil Roxalene Butt announce her passing on Friday, November 12, 2010 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 83 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Linda (Dave) Stonehouse, Corner Brook; son Eric (Amy) Butt, Grand Falls - Windsor; grandchildren: Scott (Jennifer) Stonehouse, Darthmouth, NS, Mark (Melanie) Stonehouse, Calgary, Alb; Justin and Elliott Butt, St. John’s; step-grandchildren: Emily and Jeramy Morgul, Houston, TX; great-grandchildren: MacLean, Oscar, Drew, Sydney and Lewis Stonehouse; sisters: Ruby (Jim) Slagle, Phoenix, AZ, Shirley Yaw, Salt Lake City, UT and Ruth (Stan) Parr, Edmonton, Alb; sisters-in-law: Winnie Marie LeDrew, London, Ont, Beulah Butt, St. George’s and Shirley Affleck, Kelowna, BC; brothers-in-law: Earl Butt, Grand Falls - Windsor, Thurland Butt and Alton Butt, Stephenville; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband Ray Butt and brother Eric LeDrew. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 20 at 2:00 p.m. from Humber United Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Fran Ota officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Humber United Church Memorial Fund or to a charity of one’s choice.
