It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bruce Penny announce his passing on Friday, November 12, 2010 at the Health Science Centre in St. John's at the age of 75 years. He will be sadly missed by his children: Douglas (Joan), Sharon, Jean (Eugene), Larry (Carla) and Dan (Karen), 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Dorcas, brothers John Croucher, Victor and George Penny and Graham, biological mother Margaret Crocher Lunnen White. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Monday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 16 at 11:00 a.m. from the Anglican Church, Happy Valley-Goose Bay. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers greatfully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
